There were five approved centre's inspection reports published today: O’Casey Rooms, Fairview Community Unit, Eist Linn Child and Adolescent In-Patient Unit, Phoenix Care Centre, Grangegorman, Centre for Mental Health Care & Recovery, Bantry General Hospital and Central Mental Hospital.

There were eight approved centre's inspection reports published today: St. Gabriel’s Ward, St. Canice’s Hospital, Department of Psychiatry, Waterford Regional Hospital, Carraig Mór Centre, Elm Mount Unit, St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Sliabh Mis Adult Mental Health Admission Unit, Kerry General Hospital, Lois Bridges, St. Davnet’s Hospital – Blackwater House and St. Aloysius Ward, Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.
The Judgment Support Framework (JSF) is a guidance document for Approved Centres regarding the matters which the Office of the Inspector of Mental Health Services shall address during the course of its annual inspections and may address during the course of any other focused inspections.
This document is provided to Approved Centres by way of assistance only. It is not intended to be a complete or authoritative statement on the legal requirements and obligations of Approved Centres.
The Commission was established in 2002. We are an independent body and our functions are set out in the Mental Health Act 2001.
