The Mental Health Commission is currently preparing our Strategic Plan for 2016 – 2018. It is critical, that as part of this planning process, we get stakeholder feedback to ensure we develop a plan that is both relevant and clearly outlines what needs to be achieved during the 2016 to 2018 period.
The Judgment Support Framework (JSF) is a guidance document for Approved Centres regarding the matters which the Office of the Inspector of Mental Health Services shall address during the course of its annual inspections and may address during the course of any other focused inspections.
This document is provided to Approved Centres by way of assistance only. It is not intended to be a complete or authoritative statement on the legal requirements and obligations of Approved Centres.
The Commission was established in 2002. We are an independent body and our functions are set out in the Mental Health Act 2001.
