Prompt payments

The MHC is obliged to report quarterly to the Department of Health on prompt payments in line with the Government's Decision No. 29296 of 2 and 8 March 2011:

Commission member remuneration

Commission members are remunerated for his/her services to the MHC. Information on such is available at Financial Statements.

Employees of the MHC who serve as Board members do not receive any additional remuneration. This also applies if s/he is a Board member of other State Bodies. It is due to the application of the ‘One Salary Rule’ which means that persons who are in receipt of a public sector salary or pension do not receive any additional remuneration in respect of his/her appointment to a State Board.

Payments or Purchase Orders for goods and services

The MHC routinely publishes information in respect of payments or purchase orders for €20,000 or above. These are published quarterly in the Procurement Section of the MHC website.
