About Consultations

We are committed to listening to the views of all interested parties in developing policy and standards. We know public consultation ensures our work is more-informed, rigorous and accountable.

We know that the Rules, Codes of Practice, standards, guidance and position papers we develop and the reviews we undertake are more-informed, rigorous and accountable as a result of public consultation. 

We use the term "consultation" to refer to listening to and taking on board the views of interested parties. We consult by asking for feedback, holding focus groups and interviews, and inviting individuals to take part in working groups. We believe this leads to real participation in our decision-making and policy-making.
