Approved Centres

APU Tallaght is located on the ground floor of Tallaght University Hospital and consists of three wards.

Le Brun House and Whitehorn House are located within the grounds of Clonskeagh Hospital, near Ranelagh, in Dublin.

Elm Mount Unit is an approved centre situated in St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin 4. The unit is a partnership venture between the Health Service Executive (HSE) and the St. Vincent’s Healthcare Group.

Avonmore and Glencree Units are located on the outskirts of Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow.

St. Gabriel’s Ward is located on the grounds of St. Canice’s Hospital, in Kilkenny. Resident accommodation is in single, two-bed, or three-bed rooms, all of which are en suite.

Selskar House is situated on the ground level of Farnogue Residential Healthcare Unit, a modern purpose-built facility.

Haywood Lodge is located on the outskirts of Clonmel town, adjacent to South Tipperary General Hospital and St Luke’s Mental Health Services.

Grangemore Ward is a recently renovated approved centre located within St. Otteran’s Hospital campus, on the outskirts of Waterford city.

The approved centre is located on the lower ground floor of the University Hospital Waterford and has two wards.

The Department of Psychiatry, St Luke’s Hospital is located on the grounds of St. Luke’s General Hospital, in Kilkenny city. The approved centre serves the catchment area of Carlow, Kilkenny and South Tipperary.
