Adult Acute Mental Health Unit, University Hospital Galway

The Adult Acute Mental Health Unit is located on the grounds of University Hospital Galway. First opened in 2018, it can accommodate residents in four separate suites. The majority of bedrooms are single en suite rooms, with some three-bed and two-bed. Three out of four suites are dedicated to general adult care with a fourth one dedicated to the Psychiatry of Later Life.
