The Centre for Mental Health Care and Recovery is located on the grounds of Bantry General Hospital. It is a three storey structure and serves West Cork, which includes the wider areas around Skibbereen, Clonakilty/Dunmanway, and Bantry. Three community mental health teams admit residents to the approved centre and there is a strong ethos and focus on community treatment and interventions. It can accommodate residents in a mix of single, two, three, and four-bed rooms.
