St Michael's Unit, Mercy University Hospital
St. Michael’s Unit is situated beside the river Lee, in Cork city centre. Located on the first floor of Mercy University Hospital, it is composed of acute and sub-acute areas. The centre provides in-patient care to City North East, City North West, Blarney/Macroom, Cobh, Glenville, and Middletown/Youghal. Five Adult Mental Health teams and a Psychiatry of Later Life team admit residents to the approved centre. The approved centre contains single bedrooms, double bedrooms, and dormitory rooms.
